Popeyes Chicken Sandwich Review
I had never previously tried a Popeyes chicken sandwich, nor had I really tried much else on the menu. I ordered the combo meal and took it home to enjoy.
The fries arrived in a separate paper bag inside my larger bag, and the chicken sandwich is packaged. The bags were all clean, which is always a plus when it comes to fast food!
You are undoubtedly getting a filling meal with the chicken sandwich, which looks fantastic and comes with a pretty sizable piece of chicken. The breading had a nice, crunchy appearance and a mouthwatering aroma.
The chicken was flavorful and juicy without being overly greasy. I was pleased with the chicken’s overall quality, and the breading gives it a wonderful flavor and crunch. The chicken didn’t resemble a uniform, mass-produced chicken patty like fast food frequently does, either in appearance or flavor.
Pickles and mayo provided the extra crunch and flavor the soft bun needed. This chicken sandwich is excellent even without many toppings!
Popeyes does offer additional toppings, so you might want to pile on more, but the flavor is still there with just the chicken, pickles, mayo, and bun.
I thought the cajun fries were the ideal side dish because they were well-seasoned and cooked to the right degree of crispiness. Homemade mac and cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy, red beans and rice, coleslaw, and biscuits are some additional side dish choices.
Overall, I was impressed with Popeyes chicken sandwich; it’s a great fried chicken sandwich and provides excellent value. The sandwich on its own is pretty large, and with fries it was a very filling meal.
Although I haven’t recently tried all of the competing fast-food chicken sandwiches, I remember that this one stands out from the rest.
Conclusion
The popularity of Popeye’s chicken sandwich may have died down for a bit, it means you are no longer need to buy it in queue. But it still has a unique flavor and is worth you to have a try!
