Which Wich Gluten Free Menu (2023 Updated)

Which Wich Superior Sandwiches is an American fast casual restaurant chain specializing in sandwiches and salads.

Which Wich excels at offering gluten-free options as a fast food establishment. Many of their menu items are also gluten-free.

Currently, let’s examine Which Wich’s gluten-free options.

Which Wich History

Salads and sandwiches are the main menu items at Which Wich, an American chain of fast-casual restaurants. The location of their corporate headquarters is in the heart of Dallas, Texas. In 2003, Jeff Sinelli launched the initial location. Which Wich began franchising to entrepreneurs two years after opening. Currently, they operate 69 restaurants across 37 states in America, including ones in Dubai, Panama City, Guatemala City, and Mexico City.

The eatery is renowned for its distinctive ordering process, in which patrons use red sharpies to select items from sandwich bag-mounted pre-printed menus. Clients select sandwiches from a variety of 10 that are available, then add their choice of bread, spreads, cheese and toppings. After that, the sandwiches are made and delivered in personalized sandwich bags.

Which Wich was given the Hot Concepts! award in June 2007. They received an honor from Nation’s Restaurant News the following year and, in May, they opened their 50th location, marking a significant milestone. Since then, they have been rapidly expanding across the globe, and Chain Store Guide magazine has named them the fastest-growing chain of fast food restaurants in both the US and Canada. Which Wich proudly unveiled its 250th restaurant in August 2013 and, a year later, PB&J, their own charitable endeavor, was introduced.

This program, which uses the buy-one-give-one business model to donate money to the PB&J fund for each peanut butter and jelly sandwich sold by the company, aims to integrate local businesses with their surrounding communities. Store owners can then use these funds to support their local communities in a variety of ways, such as by helping the hungry or responding to a natural disaster.

The project also includes various company-sponsored assets and backpack kits that provide restaurants with field equipment and even branded cars that can be used for outreach within communities. Which Wich assists its franchisees by preparing them to lead educational sessions in nearby schools to bring attention to various problems affecting the neighborhood, such as hunger.

Which Wich does a fantastic job of offering a variety of gluten-free ways to enjoy their food. Although they are best known for their customizable sandwiches, they also offer lettuce wraps, which they refer to as Lettucewichs, and bowls in which to serve tasty ingredients, which they refer to as Bowlwichs. Since the majority of their ingredients are naturally gluten-free, it works out great. They even had them certified gluten-free by MenuTrinfo®.

However, they do mention that because their kitchens still contain other wheat-containing items, there may be some cross-contamination. It would also be great if they had a gluten-free bread alternative for those wanting a more traditional sandwich, but they do better than most at providing info and options for those looking to avoid gluten.
